Server requirements

Recommended requirements

  • Intel Xeon E5 v3 class CPU or equivalent
  • 8 GB memory
  • 30 GB free hard disk space
 Operating system:
  • Windows 2016 or 2012 server with
  • the latest service packs
  • UNIX (e.g. Linux)
Web server:
  • Apache 2.4.x
  • Microsoft IIS 7 or newer with Jakarta
  • ISAPI redirector
Application server:
  • Apache Tomcat 8.5.14
  • JBoss AS 7.5 GA (6.4.5 EAP)
  • IBM WebSphere 8.5.5
Sun Java Development Kit (JDK):
  • 1.8.0
Apache Maven:
  • 3.3.3

Database server

Recommended baseline server setup (based on experience and performance):

  • 64 bits Linux OS, JDK 1.8 64 bits, Tomcat 7.0.x, Apache 2.4 with mod_proxy_ajp
  • Windows 2016 or 2012 64 bits, JDK 1.8 64 bits, Tomcat 7.0.x, IIS 7.x with 64 bits ISAPI redirector

Workstation requirements

  • Minimum screen resolution: 1280x1024
  • Recommended screen resolution: 1600x1200

GX WebManager 10 XperienCentral has been successfully tested against the configurations mentioned here above. In most cases XperienCentral will work on newer minor versions of these software components, but GX Software cannot guarantee this.
