The Is Used in-widget shows you where the current content item is reused across your entire website. This is especially useful for times when you want to modify a content item but you don't know what effect this will have across your website. For example, if you delete an image from the Content Repository that is shown in other content items, the result of this action is an empty space where it is used. Naturally you want to avoid this situation.
How does the widget work?
In the top portion of the widget you can see the total number of content items that use the current one.
In the bottom section you see the names of the content items that are using the current one. The list is scrollable if there are more content items than can be shown in the allotted space.
Custom content items
The Is Used in-widget works for all standard content item types in XperienCentral but unfortunately not for custom content items.
