XperienCentral R35
The XperienCentral R35 release contains a mix of improvements and bug fixes.
Bug Fixes
In R35, as is the case with every release, a number of issues have been resolved that were either reported by a customer or were found internally and deemed to have an impact on customers.
The following improvements have been added to XperienCentral R35:
Interactive Forms Sidebar Modifications
The properties, preconditions, and validations for form fragments are now contained within expandable/collapsible accordion sections in the Interactive Forms sidebar :
When you click an accordion, it expands by sliding down and you can then modify the properties:
When you click an expanded accordion, it closes by collapsing up.
Likewise, the properties, pre handlers, handlers and routers for form steps have also been changed into sliding accordions:
These improvements give Interactive Forms a cleaner look and feel and make it easier to locate the properties you want to define/modify.
Link Behavior Improvements
It is now possible to define rel and target attributes for a link behavior. The rel attribute allows you to specify the relationship between the current document and the linked document/resource. The target attribute, more commonly known as <a></a>, creates a hyperlink to other web pages, files, email addresses, anchors on the same page, or anything else a URL can address.
Updated Apache Tomcat Version
XperienCentral R35 uses Apache Tomcat version 9.0.55.
Media Item SEO Improvements
A change was made to the way the friendly URL for media items is generated, specifically with regard to language versions. The language version of a media item is now determined by the language version of its “display on” page. Further, all language versions of a media item now share the same friendly URL filename. This makes SEO constructions like the following now possible:
…/en/contact.htm
…/nl/contact.htm
…/de/contact.htm
In the example above, the English (en), Dutch (nl) and German (de) friendly URL paths all differ but the final filename in the friendly URL is the same for all three language versions (contact.htm). In previous versions of XperienCentral, the friendly URL of a media item filename could not be shared by more than one language version of a media item. In R35, this is now possible.
Media Collection Element Improvement
Beginning in XperienCentral R35, if a media item containing a media collection element itself matches the criteria of the media collection element, it does not appear in the overview.
Use Layout Variant Properties in Template Logic
Layout variant properties can now be used as variables in Histone template scripts.

Is it possible to also create a doc version which can be downloaded and shared?
